Family of 3 (Mother, Father, Teenager) is seeking a caretaker position on a horse farm or ranch in exchange for room and board, preferably at a separate residence from the owner.
We do have dogs, which are older, fixed, and well behaved. We can not separate from them. We are willing to install fencing to insure they will not interfere with daily life or be a bother in any way.
They are very spoiled, well trained, and do not potty inside, nor chew or tear things up. Like us, they are very layed back and chilled unless protecting their home, as it should be.
Willing and ready to clean out, clean up, and make minor repairs to available housing, but we would like to be placed in a home that's not in need of a complete remodel.
Seeking a long term position, and we are open to consider living in any area that's private and closer to animals then people, lol.
We offer many benefits and services, such as cleaning, both residential and commercial, both light and deep cleaning, by my wife.
Bookkeeping and property maintenance. Stock and feed management. Renovations and additions, by my teen and I.
Experienced animal care, specifically horse care and tending, barn care and maintenance, as well as field and pasture care and maintenance.
My teenager has been riding and tending horses since the age of 5, and no one, No One, will love and spoil your babies more then with us.
I also have experience managing a horse rescue, as well as owning a couple horses myself. We do not currently own any, but I would give just about anything to get one for my teen. It's been earned 1000 times over. My teen is extremely well mannered, well behaved, and also prefers animals to people.
I am a building contractor, with over 35 years in the construction trades. For over 20 years, I have specialized in complete remodels, additions, outbuildings, decks and fences.
I love my work, and take great pride in everything I build.
However, it's getting harder for me to keep up with the new generation. I have a select customer base of folks that still appreciate the skill, experience, patience, and ability to problem solve that I bring to the table.
I am a carpenter, a craftsman, and my love for my work shows in the things I build.
So, thus the reason for this ad. We have monthly income and are able to support ourselves and pay our own monthly bills, but in order to build something for ourselves to eventually retire to, we really need to be in a situation where we can work off our rent.
Our dream is to buy a piece of mountain property somewhere far from people, lol.
We are able and willing to get up at all hours, night or day. We are willing to clean, muck stalls, feed and tend animals, maintain property, make upgrades and improvements, maintain fence lines and secure property at all times, move whatever needs moved, do whatever needs done.
I'm a skilled heavy equipment operator, and well experienced with trailers and hauling. I have hundreds of hours on skid steers, as well as tractors, excavators, dozers, drilling equipment, etc.
If it runs, I can figure out how to work it.
We have much to offer. We seek only decent shelter, and a fair wage for work done above shelter costs.
It would be a blessing.
We do not drink, or use drugs. We don't have parties, or even company. We are very private people, and when not working we prefer to do things as a family. We are loyal to a fault, and honesty is our only way, even when it's difficult to say.
I hope this helps you to know us, just a little. We just want a simple life where we are appreciated for all we offer. Thank you for your time.
If you feel we may be a good fit for you, please call or text at your earliest convenience.
Thank you so much for your time.
